Chief of weapons, metals, and beautifying
Tenth chief of tens, and in chs. 8–13 the other ringleader beside Shemihazah. Raphael is sent to bind him in Dudael, to throw jagged rocks on him, and to let him dwell in darkness until the great day. Leviticus’ scapegoat to Azazel is, in Enochic reading, a memory of this prison. He is the industrial revolution of the antediluvian world.
