They swore on the mountain
In the days of Jared, great-grandfather of Noah, two hundred Watchers look down, desire the daughters of men, and descend on Mount Hermon.
Shemihazah refuses to act alone. They swear together, bind themselves with curses, and the mountain is named Hermon, from ḥerem: curse, devotion, ban.
The earth brings accusation. The four — Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel — carry the cry. The sentence is binding, war among the giants, the flood, and a healing of the earth that does not include the teachers’ release.

The children of the two hundred have names. One of them saw the books opened, and still looked for someone else to blame.
1 Enoch names twenty chiefs of tens. This codex lists all two hundred as twenty hosts of ten. Chiefs and the angels of chapter 69 are cited from the text. The other offices are reconstructed from each chief’s art, and marked as such. This is a study of ancient books — not a manual.
