Fifteenth chief of tens. 1 Enoch 8:3 assigns him the signs of the sun. The Astronomical Book (72–82) is the authorized version of this science — 364 days, portals, and obedience. Shamsiel’s version adds worship and political use: the sun as a client, or a god.
